Cannalympics

Cannalympics is a public event that draws Mpumalanga’s numbers like no other cannabis event. Boasting an audience of 300 people at its first launch, we expect to see twice as many people at the next one in autumn. The event was last held at Steve’s Place at Witbank Dam, with a number of collaborating businesses to offer the full Greenrush experience! Open, One love, and Vibes. We dined upon a chef’s infused dishes, vibed with the live band, and set our eyes to the reflecting stars off the rippling waters.

Dab Day

The long standing tradition of dab days is a rich memory of our long time supporters. Dab days has always stirred a buzz, drawing a crowd who wanted to know a little bit more about cannabis. The initiative began as an educational platform to educate the community about how the variety of cannabis extract (dabs) processes, safety precautions, methods to consume, correct dosage, and what the benefits are.

Sports

Who said that you cannot be an active user of cannabis and not also physically active. Many sportsmen use cannabis for its muscle relaxation and pain relief properties. They attest that their use off the field improves their performance on the field. We encourage the community to join in the sport activities locally, with our teams participating in indoor soccer and cricket. We established an indoor team that went to every game and showed just as much dedication on the pitch. The Smokin’ Stones built themselves a reputation and have reversed the stigma around cannabis users and sports. This highlights how our community is conscious and committed to their health, and the social health of the community.

Puff Puff Paint

In the mission to improve the community, we aim to shed light on the creative stimulation, and how it can resolve the problem of youth delinquency. Puff Puff Paint is a fun event where artists let loose, served with a canvas, coffee and a joint, it is a creative’s paradise. The event shows that cannabis can be used to do creative works with a community, in therapeutic care of a paint brush and an unbiased space. We are always wonderfully surprised at the works that come out and how enjoyable it is to socialize with like-minded people.

Braai Day

Nothing brings people together like food, but nothing unites South Africans like a chesa nyama.
On select days, we get together and have the community over for a braai, Halaal premium meat, tastefully infused and prepared on site. We share these moments to celebrate holidays that remind us of our heritage, and socialize as the rainbow nation. We carry our South African spirit into every fire, together, even in the heat of the Rugby World Cup victory!
